This is a great little wireless camera that is so small and easy to set up, that it's potential uses are limited only by your imagination, but please be ethical. It has a range of up to 300 feet or more depending on how many walls and other obstacles the signal must penetrate. The camera can run on either a 9 volt battery or the included 110volt ac adapter. The picture below shows what's included in the low price kit (the penny is not included!).

Plug the camera into an outlet or a 9 volt battery. Plug the receiver into an outlet. Connect it to your tv with the included cable. That's it! The camera transmits both sound and video. The camera does not interfere with wireless computer networks which work at 2.4GHZ. Will not work in total darkness, needs at least 1.5 lux illumination.
