This mirror also displays information from its 4 sensors which you are to place on the rear of the vehicle. When the vehicle is in reverse gear, the mirror displays the distance your vehicle is from an object and whether the object is to the right or left side. The sensors relay information in the range of the sensors, approximately 5.4 ft to 1.3 ft or 1.6 meters to 0.4 meters. There are also four stages of warning beeps to assist you while backing up. The beep is not loud, but can't be muted.
